Please note: Memberships in the Internet Chapter are available only to members of the National Story Circle Network.

SCN now offers an Organizational Membership open to any non-profit or corporation sharing the mission, goals and values of SCN. For a membership fee of $100, organizational members will receive:

One subscription to the quarterly Story Circle Journal, and our monthly national e-Letter
Inclusion in the Story Circle Journal's list of affiliated organizations.
Listing on the Story Circle Network's website with a link to the organization's website (see organization.shtml)
Publication in the Story Circle e-Letter of the oranization's event notices (Events should be in keeping with our mission, of interest to our members, and not in conflict with our own events).
One membership discount per national Story Circle event.
Signage including the organization's name and a place for their printed materials at each major national Story Circle function.

Membership Benefits:

Anyone (members or not) can receive our free monthly national e-letter.
Anyone in the Austin area can receive our free chapter e-letter.
Internet Chapter members:
- can participate in reading &/or writing e-circles
- receive a monthly chapter e-letter
- receive weekly writing prompts / women's quotes
- can (for an additional fee) participate in chapter writing workshops
National members:
- receive 4 issues of our quarterly print 28-page Journal.
- can submit stories to be included in the quarterly Journal.
- receive discounts on all of our workshops, retreats, conferences, etc. (discounts vary per event, but are generally $25-$50)
- can participate in our annual writing contest
- can have their event/workshop info listed on our SCN Member Austin-Area Events page
- can have their info listed on our SCN Authors page
- can have their info listed on our Members in Print & in the News page
- can participate in our Speakers Bureau
- can, for an additional fee ($15/year), have their personal business info listed on our Members' Services page.

If you are joining the Internet Chapter, a User Name and Password will be set up and emailed to you, along with instructions on how to access the password-protected internet chapter web site.
